Banana Peanut-Butter Cup Protein Shake

Today, I wanted to share with you my go-to post run shake!  I make this shake about 4 times a week and still haven’t gotten tired of it, it’s like desert in a cup and really helps fill me up and refuel me after a long run.

To make this shake, you’ll need: shake ingredients

Chocolate Protein Powder – I use Designer Whey Double Chocolate

Dark Chocolate Almond Milk – I buy these in the little single-serve containers.  They don’t need to be refrigerated and I pour in exactly one.  By the way, if you’re just mixing the powder on the run, mix it with this almond milk.  It tastes like brownie batter!

Peanut Butter (2 tablespoons)

One large banana (or two medium bananas)

In a blender, add the milk, bananas, and peanut butter.  Scoop the protein powder on top.  I usually add 2 ice cubes as well, then blend and enjoy!  For a little extra chocolate, you can drizzle chocolate syrup on the inside of the glass 🙂
