One of the things we learned in the Good Form Running class I took last weekend is that the ideal runner’s cadence is about 90 strikes per foot per minute…180 strikes per minute total.  One of the tips the instructor gave us was to try a metronome app on the phone to hit it perfectly.  Alternatively, he said that you could create a playlist with songs at 90 or 180 bpm.  I’m more of a “run with music” type of girl myself, so I put together a little playlist I’m going to try this week.  All of these songs are around 90 or 180 bpm, verified via is a website that will help you find the perfect workout music based on your desired tempo–it’s a pretty neat concept!
